Life after the military can present many challenges to veterans and their family members. We are committed to serving the brave men and women of New York State who fought for our country. To serve the brave men and women of New York State who fought for our country, we support programs that accomplish the following types of initiatives:
Through Hope For The Warriors, the Mother Cabrini Health Foundation is assisting financially vulnerable post-9/11 veterans and their families to reduce incidents of food insecurity and threats to stable housing related to the on-going pandemic.
The Mother Cabrini Health Foundation awarded Hope For The Warriors a grant to bolster HOPE’s Critical Care Coordination services to New York-based post-9/11 veterans and military families that are struggling financially during the pandemic with temporary financial assistance for items related to rent/mortgage, utility bills, groceries, and car payments.
Providing $125,000 in emergency support to expand COVID-19 services for Veterans Mental Health.
Supporting a new program in Rochester to assist female veterans in their return to civilian life, including housing assistance for those at risk of homelessness.
